I have a confession...we were talking with some friends and
they said the best coffee they found was "dunkin donuts" you
can buy it in the beans at Target, Hy-Vee, etc. We tried it,
does not even compare!!! Luckily I only bought 1 small bag, it
tastes like water. We are definitely spoiled with your coffee.

now I've got a problem. The first order was for two (2) pounds
of coffee. No problems, but the coffee only lasted about three
weeks. Next order was for three (3)pounds of coffee. That
lasted for a month, but I ran rather low during that last
week. My last was an order for four (4) pounds..and my wife
said that's all she will allow me to order each month!!
Perfect selection...perfect roast...and packaging that keeps
the coffees fresh all month. Your descriptions of the coffees
are right on What a
great coffee! As soon as the DHL driver dropped off my box of
Ethiopian Harrar, I could smell the wonderful fragrance of
roasted coffee. I brewed a pot and was overwhelmed with the
complex richness and subtle flavors that came through. Having
your coffee roasted and ground to your own specifications is
truly a must for coffee lovers. I threw away the rest of my
“Charbucks” and will stick to this company from now on! The
Coffee Barn has a great cup of coffee at a competitive price.
The whole
bean is as good or better than any I've purchased elsewhere,
and it is roasted one block from my house - it doesn't get any
better than that. I have to keep a stash at the fire station
at all times. Beyond the
great flavor of the coffee, what I like is the excellent
customer service from Carl. Where else can you get fresh
roasted coffee, ground to your liking and delivered to your
door!! My son purchased a year's worth of coffee as my
Christmas gift from The Coffee Barn and it is one of the best
gifts I ever received! Not only do I get a great coffee (of my
choosing) every month but his Christmas gift keeps giving for
a whole year! I am hoping he does it again next year. I first
tried your coffee at a Pancake Feed in Altoona Ia and was
instantly hooked on the rich, mellow flavor! Since then I have
given it as gifts to friends and family all over the world.
Everyone agrees, it is the best they’ve ever had! We
initially purchased coffee and tea through the Coffee Barn
because of the fresh full flavor and low acidity. Besides the
product quality, we continue to brew your coffee because of
the friendly and prompt customer service! (As I am typing, the
rich aroma of coffee is drifting through the building, and
there is a stampede of faithful coffee drinkers headed for the
freshly ground pot.) Keep up the good work! Carl, I couldn't
ask for better customer service!! The black currant tea is the
best I have ever had. I have tried several others and the
Coffee Barn by far has the best!! Thanks so much for being so
friendly, helpful and having such great products. Buying
coffee from the grocery store = Acceptable. A fresh cup of
coffee from Starbucks = Good. Having your choice of coffee
beans custom roasted just hours before you grind them =
UNBEATABLE. If you haven't tried The Coffee Barn's difference,
you haven't had REAL coffee! I have
been drinking coffee for over 20 years. Have had every kind
that you can imagine. I have always drank it with cream and
sugar. While at a friends home one evening she had no cream so
I had her coffee black. It was delicious. When I ask what kind
it was she told me that she had ordered from Carl's Coffee
Barn over the internet. Well as soon as I got home I ordered
some and now the only thing I add to my coffee is water to
brew it. I have only one problem with it and that is deciding
which kind to order each time as I have not found one that I
do not like. If you are a coffee drinker you have not had a
good cup of coffee until you try this coffee. I know
that I have written to you already to let you know that your
coffee is the best that I have ever had , but I had to let you
know that I also ordered your spices and I was absolutely
overwhelmed by the results.. I was expecting a good product
because of your coffee, but what I got in the spices were
sensational. I made the best pot of Chili that I have ever
made. My husband who likes chili but never says much, had 3
bowls and commented that this was the best that I had made and
we have been married for 26 years. So needless to say I have
made a lot of chili. I also used the salt and pepper blend in
my fried chicken and once again I was extremely happy with the
results. I thought that I would let you know in hopes that you
might consider adding more will add more in your line for I
sure will try them and will be a repeat customer not only of
your coffee but your spices also. I always
used fresh ground coffee from the grocery store and thought it
was good- that is until I tried Gevalia coffee from the
internet and thought that was better - until one day on a whim
- I tried The Coffee Barn's. I have never had a more richer,
mellow and fresh tasting coffee and will NEVER switch again -
and if made in the coffee press, you can't beat it
anywhere........try it you will like it..... I had my
first cup of your coffee this evening and without question
this was the best cup of coffee I have ever had. I have been a
coffee drinker for over 20 years, also I used to be a tour
guide and have been to several countries, including Columbia
and other parts of Central America and have had coffee all
over the world. So believe me I am a tried and true coffee
lover. Thank you for providing such a wonderful product. Friends
don't let friends not drink Carl's Coffee. Best coffee that I
have ever had! I could
not have imagined the aroma, body, flavor, acidity and the
great aftertaste of my coffee that I ordered from The Coffee
Barn.....Not until I received my first pound. After that I was
hooked. I have tried several...THE BRAZILIAN...was round,
smooth and sweet......THE COLOMBIAN was acidy, dry,
full-bodied and fruity...THE ETHIOPIAN was fruity, sweet and
berry-like...THE HAWIAAN was sweet, subtle, delicately dry
with fruit notes...and my favorite, THE SUMATRA, was acidy,
